101 Second Street Atrium

San Francisco, CA

‘Shady lady’ black olive trees highlight the verticality of the glass atrium entry at the 24-story office tower at 101 Second Street. White spring-flowering Chanticleer pear trees and summer-blooming Magnolias compliment the surrounding architectural detailing, and the bronze underside of the Magnolia leaves match the building’s golden brown stone. Within the atrium, the lacey texture of ‘Shady Lady’ olive tree branches allows sunlight to filter down to the tables below. Seating options include a combination of movable chairs and built-in granite benches.
